Klim Bjerg and Klim Kalkovn
Klim Bjerg is a fantastic nature area with marked hiking trails and beautiful vistas. From 'Marius' bench' can the northwest observe a special landscape phenomenon, a dune, which because of its oblong shape called a parabolic dune. To the east are the largest and most beautiful sandparabler - Nørre and Sønder Miler.
Klim kalkovn shows how the region's geology has had a practical use for the local community. Inside Klim Kalkovn there is an exhibition that tells about the area's geology and about the work of the lime kiln. Klim lime kiln has a large Danish cultural significance as it is the last of two lime kilns in Denmark.
Close by Klim Bjerg seen yet the open limestone quarry that supplied the raw material for both building blocks as quicklime. Yet around 1920 were laboriously sawn limestone for new buildings, of which a few houses still exist. In Havbådehuset, which was built in 2011 in Slettestrand, the inside walls built of old limestone from the local area.
