BULBJERG - JYLLANDS ONLY CUTTING
Bulbjerg is Denmark's only bird cliff outside of Bornholm, where there will be the chance to see the rare fulmar a compact gull species that normally point holder on the mountain from late March to late July.
Furthermore, since 1974 there has bred more than 200 Ridepar and in 2008, counted more than 300 nests. Kittiwakes arrive in April, which build nests, nesting and hatching chicks.
In July the young are ready to fly and in August they leave the mountains and fly out on the open sea , where they spend most of their lives.
Extremely Bulbjerg will be able to find an observation bunker from World War 2, which has been furnished with an exhibition about the bird cliff and occupation.
Bulbjerg is 11 km. from the campsite and is a wonderful trip by bicycle.
